Hello Rain, You could always try your local Unitarian church they're Pagan friendly. I know of the one in Burlington and they have monthly gatherings. Or if you can make it to Burlington you can try the one here. There's also Spirit Dancer a "new age" shop. They have a bulliten board people use to network with. If I can help you with anything else let me know. Blessed Be....

If you live in Barre still, right down the road about a half hour is the Laurelin Community. We meet for Full moon rites, we have a monthly potluck, and we do small festivals a feew times a year, actually we have a beltaine one coming right up in about 6 weeks.

Gemil, will there be a festival for Samhain? Would new people be welcome? What about children?

Unfortunately there will be no public Samhain ritual, but we are having anopen full moon on Friday the 29. And I believe that Sunday is also the potluch brunch.
As for children, most of the people who have children, do in fact bring them to laurelin events, but with that said, not too many of the people in the community have children. You can generally find one or two children walking around playing though. So please feel free to bring your young ones to any event.
